Beam Headings You may think it's funny; but read on. I hear people on the Baja Net all the time guessing how far they are apart in discussing propagation. They're usually WAY OFF in their guess. This very simple little program will take the guess work out of it. There is a list of all, or most, of the people who check into the Baja Net regularly. Their Lat and Long are already entered into the list; all you have to do is click on them and it tells you which direction they are from you and how far. Just read the ReadMe files and it will tell you all about it. There's only about one step in the Setup and that is to put in your Latitude and Longitude. If you don't know it, you're probably on the List, so just look it up there. The List is a text file called Baja Net.txt. Don't change anything unless you know what you're doing. Otherwise, you might screw everything up. Have fun. You know where to get me if you have questions. If I left you off the list, I apologize. Just send me your address or Lat and Long and I'll put you on there. Be sure to download the changes. They are not included in the zipped file.
Right-click and Save Target As
As people are added or move, the list of Baja Net will change. All you need to do to keep up with the changes is download the file Baja Net.txt and copy it into the folder replacing the old one. Remember that, if you have changed it yourself, this will wipe out YOUR changes. Therefore, you're best not to change it yourself - rather, just make your own list if you want. There's provision to make 2 lists of your own. If you want to add someone to the Baja Net list, please send the info to me and I'll add it so we can all share it. Thanks.
